323. Luis Antonio MAÑERU was born on 28 April 1946 in Manila. He was educated with a BSC in 1971 at Santa Clara University. Also an MBA in 1977 from José Rizal College. He was ordained on 31 May 2019. He was consecrated an Anglican priest by The Right Reverend Bishop Joel Pachao. Luis is also known as The Reverend Father Chato. He received a degree in BSC in 1971 from Santa Clara University and an MBA in 1977 from Jose Rizal College. After years in advertising and public relations, he capped a successful career as Administrator of the Spanish Embassy's Office of Cooperation and as Office Manager of the Spanish Employers Confederation. After retiring, he and his wife Marlies moved to Baguio where he entered the seminary and took Holy Orders, eventually consecrated an Anglican priest by The Right Reverend Bishop Joel Pachao on May 31, 2019. They consequently moved to the USA to be with their children and currently reside in Houston, Texas where he exercises his ministry.

Luis Antonio MAÑERU and Marlies Sternberg HACKETT were married on 10 March 1984 in Mary the Queen Parish, Greenhills, San Juan. Marlies Sternberg HACKETT was born on 17 July 1958 in Hanover, Germany. She was educated Bachelor of Arts in Music Education in Santo Tomas University.. After many years teaching at the International School of Manila (IS) andBrent School, she retired and now dedicates herself to helping out in anecumenical capacity in the Anglican, Lutheran and Catholic churches in the USA. After many years as a teacher at the International School of Manila and Brent School in Pasig, she is now an Office Director in Serendipity School, a private primary school in California.
