72. Mateo ROCO⁴ was born in 1883 in San Miguel, Manila. He was born about 1885.⁵ He was educated between 1900 and 1904 in Massacussets Institute of Technology. Mateo died in March 1950 at the age of 67 in Manila. Mateo Roco was a Pensionado, a scholar at the Massachussets Instituteof Technology. Mateo was a very bright but eccentric man. He reallywanted to be an opera singer in Italy but instead became a geodeticengineer.

Agustina AZUELA⁴, daughter of Ramon AZUELA and Unknown MONTESOR, was born on 10 June 1892 in Bombon, Camarines Sur. She died on 4 September 1980 at the age of 88 in Bombon, Camarines Sur. Agustina was the niece of Thomasa Montesor, wife of Manuel. She tookcare of Dona Potenciana in her old age and thus lived in the Rocohouse with the unmarried Roco children. She was fondly called Inay byher grandchildren. She was fifteen when she joined the Roco householdand Mateo was twenty six.
