637. Senator Raul Antonio ROCO2 was born on 26 October 1941 in Naga City. He was educated between 1947 and 1951 in Naga Parochial Elementary School. Pompon, as Raul is called in the family, was accelerated during his elementary days because of his precosciousness. He was educated between 1947 and 1951 in Naga Parochial Elementary School. Raul was educated between 1951 and 1955 in Ateneo De Naga. Raul finished high at the age of fourteen. He was educated between 1951 and 1955 in Ateneo De Naga. He was educated between 1955 and 1959 in San Beda College, Mendiola, Manila. Raul took up AB English graduating Magna Cum Laude. Raul was educated between 1955 and 1959 in San Beda College, Mendiola, Manila. He was educated between 1959 and 1963 in San Beda Collage of Law, Manila. He graduated with San Beda's highest award -- the Abbot's Award for Leadership. Raul was also National President of the National Union of Students of the Philippines. He was educated between 1959 and 1963 in San Beda Collage of Law, Manila. In 1965 Raul was a Lawyer in Manila. Raul presently heads the Roco, Bunag, Kapunan, Migallos and Associates Law Office. In 1965 he was in Manila; Occupation: Lawyer. He was elected as Delegate of the Second District, Constitutional Convention of 1970 in November 1969 in Naga City. Raul topped the elections in Camarines Sur and was one of the youngest Delegates in the Concon. Raul was elected as Representative of the Second District, Camarines Sur between 1987 and 1992 in Naga City. Raul was elected Congressman representing his district in the first Congress of the Republic of the Philippines after the Marcos era was ended by People Power in February 1986. He was elected as Assistant Majority Floorleader of the House of Representatives between 1987 and 1992 in Congress of the Republif of the Philippines. Raul was chosen Assistant Majority Floorleader during the time of Speaker Ramon Mitra. He was elected as Senator of the Philippines in May 1992 in Manila. Raul placed 14th in the senatorial elections giving him a three-year tenure as Senator in the first Senate since the Declaration of Martial Law in 1972. Raul was elected as Senator of the Philippines in May 1995 in Manila. Raul placed second in the winning list of senators during his reelection. His term ends in 2001. He is the first of two Bicolanos ever to be reelected as Senators of the Philippines. Between 2001 and 2002 he was in Secretary of the Department of Education of the Republic of the Philippines. He died on 5 August 2004 at the age of 62 in St. Luke's Hospital, Quezon City, Philippines. Raul is also known as Raul Antonio Roco Senator. He held the title of Senator. He was buried in Sto. Mrs. Sonia MALASARTE2, daughter of Pablo MALASARTE and Petra CUBILLO, was born on 20 July 1944 in Tagbilaran, Bohol. She was educated in St. Joseph's College, Quezon City. Sonia studied in St. Joseph's College from kinder to college, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was chosen Most Outstanding Student of the Philippines in 1966. She is also known as Sonia Malasarte. Sonia studied in St. Joseph's College from kinder to college, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was chosen Most Outstanding Student of the Philippines in 1966. Sonia was educated in St. Joseph's College, Quezon City. Sonia studied in St. Joseph's College from kinder to college, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
